Tour Itinerary

1Day01:
Explore both Old Delhi and New Delhi on a full-day sightseeing tour with a local guide, and move comfortably between the historic monuments in an air-conditioned vehicle.
2Day01:
After being picked up at your hotel, your first stop will be the Laxminarayan Temple, inaugurated by Mahatma Gandhi, and built by B. R. Birla and Jugal Kishore Birla between 1933 and 1939. Constructed in honor of Lakshmi, the Hindu goddess of wealth, the walls of the temple are opulently decorated with Hindu symbols and quotes from the Gita and Upanishads.
3Day01:
Continue to the 17th-century Jama Masjid, India's largest mosque, laid on a hillock in Shahjahanabad (Old Delhi) by the 5th Mughal Emperor. Admire its imposing minarets and domes, before driving to the fabled Red Fort.
4Day01:
Known locally as “Lal Qila,” the prominent fortress, located within the walls of Old Delhi, served as the capital of the Mughals until 1857. Continue to India Gate - the national monument of India - situated in the heart of New Delhi. Following independence from the British Empire, the commemorative arch has also housed the Indian army's Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. Drive past impressive government buildings, such as Parliament House and the Government Secretariat buildings.
5Day01:
Drive past the immense President’s House (Rashtrapati Bhavan), a 320-acre complex that dwarfs the White House in Washington. After lunch (not included in ticket price), continue to Humayun's Tomb, built between 1562 and 1571, for the tomb of the Mughal Emperor Humayun.
6Day01:
Then, it’s on to the southern section of the city to see the Qutub Minar, boasting the tallest minaret in India. Enjoy a spot of shopping at the end of the trip if you wish
